From nomadic creatives to venture builders

In 2019, we merged two independent freelance practices and traded corporate careers for the unknown: building a creative studio while traveling the world. We started in Australia and New Zealand, worked our way through Bali, then spent months across Europe. From non-profits to Fortune 100 companies, we built our business working with brands across four continents.

Somewhere along the way, we realized there was more we wanted to do than design for other companies. Travel and creative exploration had become foundational. The experiences we gained led us to start developing our own products. Lore evolved from a design studio into something different: a venture studio with a portfolio of independent brands, each built with the same DNA.

We believe the best experiences are intuitive, beautiful, and deeply human. Our approach is instinct-driven, shaped by years of building across industries and continents. We strip everything to its foundation and add only what's necessary. Simplicity and clarity aren't just our aesthetic. They're how we think, build, and measure success.
